2021 Czech Junior Champion Anna Klempererová has joined the ranks of Butterfly contract players.

Interview: Anna Klempererová
You have become a Butterfly contract player. What does this mean to you?
"I truly appreciate being a sponsored player for such a prestigious and world-renowned brand. Butterfly has been my favorite since the very beginning of my table tennis career. Because of that, I feel a commitment to represent the brand well, both in everyday life and, above all, in the world of ping pong."
How do you perceive the Butterfly brand?
"For me, Butterfly is the absolute 'TOP' in the world of table tennis. The clothing is comfortable and stylish. They produce a wide range of rubbers and blades. I think even many people who don't play table tennis have already noticed this brand."
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
"Currently, I consider my greatest achievement to be the Czech Junior National Title in girls' singles. However, I also can't forget my Cadet (U13) National Title in singles, being a two-time National Junior Team Champion, and winning a bronze medal at the European Youth Championships in the junior team event."
What are your future goals?
"My goal is to keep getting better and better and to keep working on myself. I’d say I still have quite a lot of work ahead of me, and there is always room for improvement."
What blade and rubbers are you currently using, and why do they suit you?
"Right now, I am playing with the Timo Boll ALC blade. On my forehand, I use Impartial XS (short pips), and on my backhand, I have Tenergy 64. I’ve been playing with Tenergy for a long time, but about two months ago, I switched to the new blade and the short pips. The new blade is very similar to my previous one (Timo Boll Spirit). I’d say it’s a bit faster but still offers better feel. I'm still getting used to the short pips, but compared to my previous rubber, I have much more control. Overall, I am very satisfied with my Butterfly equipment and happy to represent the brand."
We would like to thank Anička for the interview and wish her much success in the future.
